Our instructor training courses, taught by Mark Moore and Tom McEwan, are no exception.  We combine highly experienced, positive-minded instruction, video techniques, and a variety of teaching methods and venues to create a unique learning environment. Whether your interest lies in teaching in a formal program, guiding friends or club members, or just improving your own personal skills, these classes provide a wealth of information and hands-on skills training. We cover the curriculum required for American Canoe Association (ACA) certification, and more. Intermediate and Advanced boaters
 
What:
Five days for Essentials and White Water
Two days for Advanced White Water

Where and when:
Essentials and White water—various locations on the Potomac
Advanced White Water—Cheat or Lower Yough

What to bring:
You can bring your own boat and equipment or rent one of ours at our daily class rate of $10 
 
Cost:
$500 the Essentials and White Water Certification
$200 for the Advanced White Water Certification
 
Prerequisites:
Intermediate (class III) skills and Liquid Adventures Office approval for Essentials and White Water
Advanced (class IV) skills and Paddling Office approval for Advanced White Water. Also one must be a ACA instructor for two years in good standing or equivalent.
