The Feeder Cup Summer Slalom Series is a casual and fun way to experience slalom racing and test your slalom skills with other like minded local paddlers. Racers practice on the course before the race, count their own penalties, and take as many runs as time will allow. The results are published on this page, and at the end there are accumulated scores are tabulated and overall winners are declared. Check out the LAKS calendar for Feeder Cup dates.

*******************Feeder Cup Schedule*********************

9am - 10am - Open course practice and slalom clinic with local slalom experts
10am -12pm - Timed Runs

Check In is at the put-in rock downstream of the course. Participants will be asked to sign a waiver and will be issued a race bib and entered into their boat class and category for the race. They can then proceed to practice on the course and spend some time getting slalom tips. Racers must wear a helmet and PFD while they are on the course. If you would like to volunteer to help out for a race, just call us at the office. The Feeder Cup is a series of three races held on a Saturday morning of each month during the summer. All races are conducted on the Feeder Canal and begin at 10 a.m. All recreational boaters are encouraged to participate. A & B nationally ranked athletes are encouraged to race, but are not eligible for Feeder Cup points.

Participants can take as many runs as time and/or participants permit but only best two runs count for FeederCup points. Racing is casual, open to paddlers of all ages, and is free of charge.

Points are awarded at each race for participation, clean runs, race placing for first through third, and most improved paddler during the overall race series.
