| Jeff moved from the Appalachian foothills of South Carolina to Washington D.C. in the late 1980's to get his Master's degree in Philosophy. He learned to kayak on the Potomac, became an instructor with Eric Jackson's Adventure Schools, and began exploring the world's rivers. He has descended rivers throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, Europe, and Latin America. He has also traveled throughout North Africa and Asia. Before coming to Liquid Adventures, Jeff was Director of the Potomac Outdoors Kayak School and currently holds certifications in Advanced Whitewater, Swiftwater Rescue, and First Aid/CPR. He is a member of Team Dragorossi Kayaks and spends his days dreaming of steep, glassy waves. |
